MemberTervitused! Üldkokkuvõttes võib rahule jääda, kuna kaks väiksemat eesmärki, mis endamisi paika said pandud, said täidetud – 1) küki alavõit ja 2) 200 punkti.

See kuu pole olnud ühtegi täiesti trennivaba päeva. Järgmine pühapäev on EMÜ meistrivõistlused Fitness Five’is, kuhu panin ka juba kirja.

Trennid on praegu üsna kurnavad ütleks.

Eelmise aasta alguses toimunud Fitness Five võistlustel tegi Esta Pilt ettepaneku osaleda LEKV Athletic Fitnessis.

Member2013 IFBB Olympia Qualification Series Update
January 4th, 2013
2013 is barely a week old, but it’s never too early to start keeping track of the Olympia Qualification Series. Competitors in each of the IFBB Professional League’s eight divisions began accumulating points immediately after the 2012 Olympia.
The top five in each division from last year’s Olympia automatically qualified for the 2013 edition. This year will be the first year for the Men’s and Women’s Physique divisions at the Olympia. The 2013 IFBB Pro League season begins on March 1-2 with the Arnold Sports Festival.

MemberEvan Centopani Opts out of 2013 Arnold Classic
http://www.flexonlin…-arnold-classic
IFBB Pro Evan Centopani’s Olympia Stage Debut wasn’t as well as we would have expected. Evan took 8th place.
Before that, Centopani has competed in both the 2011 and 2012 Arnold Classics taking 4th and 3rd respectively.
In the following video, Centopani explains there isn’t much of an off-season between the Olympia and the Arnold. Reading into that, it looks like the only time we will see Evan on stage again will be at the 2012 Mr Olympia.
Will taking an entire year off for the Olympia help Evan Centopani move from 8th to top 6? He will have to combat Mr Olympia Phil Heath, Former Mr Olympia Jay Cutler, the venerable and Mr Olympia Runner Up Kai Greene, former Mr Olympia Dexter Jackson, 3rd place finisher Shawn Rhoden, Branch Warren, Dennis Wolf, etc.
Another one sitting out the up coming Arnold is 3 times Champ Nicole Wilkins who recently announced she will not be defending her title. Her official announcement ;
For the past five years, the Monday after Thanksgiving always marks the first day of my prep for the Arnold Classic. But not this year – because, since 2008, I’ve decided to sit out the event. For the first time since I’ve been a pro, I’m going to give myself a longer off-season to make the improvements I feel are necessary to get my physique where I want it to be to hopefully win back the Figure Olympia title.
For those of you who will be in Columbus, I will be too – just at the Met-Rx booth and not on stage. I’m sure it will be hard watching all of the other girls competing that weekend, but I know this is the right decision for me at this time. And I know I’ll be back on the Arnold Classic Figure International stage in 2014 going for title No. 4!
Thank you to Fitness Management Group (FMG), my trainer Kim Oddo and MET-Rx for supporting me with this decision. Here’s to a great 2013!

MemberNPCnewsonline previews the upcoming show – http://npcnewsonline.com/2012-ifbb-masters-olympia-pro-world-figurebikinifitness-preview/43387/ ;
Masters Olympia; The Masters Olympia returns after a nine-year hiatus, with the best over-40 bodybuilders in the world competing for $200,000 in prize money – including a $100,000 first-place check for whoever comes out on top. The last time the contest was held was in 2003, when Claude Groulx became the sixth winner in contest history, beating out Johnny Stewart (2nd), Darryl Stafford (3rd), David Hawk (4th) and George Tuman (5th). No offense to history, but that lineup pales in comparison to what will take the stage in Miami.
For starters, this marks only the second time in Master’s Olympia history that a Mr. Olympia winner will be in the lineup. Chris Dickerson was the first, competing in the inaugural Masters Olympia in 1994. But that contest came 12 years after Dickerson’s 1982 Olympia win, meaning Dickerson was well past his prime. This year, a rejuvenated Dexter Jackson headlines what promises to be the most competitive Masters Olympia lineup in history.
Five years removed from his win in 2008, the 43-year-old Jackson was seemingly on the downside of his career with several subpar outings over the past two seasons. But a fourth-place finish at this year’s Olympia – where Jackson arguably looked the best he has since 2009 – put The Blade back among the elite. Now, he’ll look to solidify that status with a win in Miami.
But Jackson is just one of many in what amounts to the most decorated Masters Olympia lineup of all time, one which includes a record nine competitors with IFBB open division wins. Other than Jackson, Toney Freeman, Johnnie Jackson, Dennis James, Troy Alves, Bill Wilmore, Ed Nunn, Darrem Charles and Michael Kefalianos all have at least one professional win on their resumes. The only lineup that comes close is the 1994 Masters Olympia, which boasted a lineup of seven previous winners – Robby Robinson (1st), Lou Ferrigno (2nd), Boyer Coe (3rd), Chris Dickerson (4th), Danny Padilla (7th), Bill Grant (8th) and Ed Corney (9th).

PRO WORLD FIGURE, BIKINI & FITNESS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Candice Lewis and India Paulino, two of the best in the world in their respective divisions, lead the way on the women’s side this weekend.
In figure, Lewis will look to complete a historic run in the division. A win here will give Lewis five victories this season – tying her with Nicole Wilkins and Erin Stern as the most ever in a single season. Lewis, who turned pro at the 2011 Junior Nationals, has wins in Omaha, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale and Houston this year.
Her toughest test should come from another rookie in Kamla Macko, who matched up well with Lewis the last time the two stood on the same stage. Macko, who turned pro at the USA Championships in July, has already put together a rookie season to remember, placing in the top five in all three of her professional contests to date – including back-to-back runner-up finishes in her last two. One of those second places came to Lewis at the Ft. Lauderdale Cup in October.
In Bikini, India Paulino returns to defend the title she won a year ago. Since turning pro at the 2011 Junior Nationals, Paulino has four wins and eight top-three finishes. A win here would be her third of the 2012 season.
But Paulino isn’t the only competitor in the lineup looking for her third win of the year. Florida has already been kind to Yeshaira Robles this fall, where the second-year pro notched both of her IFBB wins in a two month span at the Valenti Cup and the Ft. Lauderdale Cup. A win here – and a win over Paulino – would go a long way in elevating Robles to elite status.

MemberTroy Alves gives a lil update;

MD’s written preview;
With the last bodybuilding contest of the season officially in the history books, one would think that the bodybuilding year has come to an end. But there is one more king left to be crowned this year, and that will happen in December at the 2012 Masters Olympia in Miami.
While some would consider Dexter Jackson the returning champ, and thus the man to beat after winning Masters Worlds last year, this is actually the first time we’ve seen a Masters Mr. Olympia since 2004 when Claude Groulx won the title. The show was held from 1994 through 2004 with Ed Corney, Robby Robinson, and Vince Taylor’s multiple wins accounting for more than half the titles. In case you’re wondering, Vince Taylor holds the record with a whopping five titles.
Claude Groulx will not be on hand to defend his Masters Olympia Title, but Dexter Jackson will be there to defend his masters win last year in Miami. There is no doubt that he would like to be the second man to hold a both a Mr. Olympia and a Masters Olympia Title. Chris Dickerson already beat him to the punch! But should Dexter win, well, ties were meant to be broken. The stage would already be set for the 2013 Masters Olympia.
But there is a little matter of a few good men who would like to knock Dexter out of their way and claim the title. Dennis James is probably the most hungry of those men. The last time these two men had a one and two mix was 2002’s British Grand Prix where Dennis took second to Dexter’s first. Add to the that Dexter publicly stated in Vegas at the Olympia Press Conference that Dennis had never beaten him, and it’s easy to see that no one would covet a win more than Dennis James.
And then there’s Toney Freeman. Toney was just earning his IFBB Pro Card in 2002 when Dennis James and Dexter Jackson faced off at the British Grand Prix. Like both men, he’s had his time on the Olympia stage. This year, he’s also had a slew of top five placings with his last win being the 2011 Europa SuperShow. Dexter did not compete there, and Dennis had retired after the previous year’s Olympia, leaving to question how will these men compare if each shows up at his all time best? Will Toney’s giant X-Frame prove too much? Will Dexter’s aesthetics please the judges? Or will Dennis James’ freaky mass rule all?
There’s only one way to find out – at the 2012 Masters Olympia! Be there as Dexter, Dennis, and Toney face each other and the likes of Ronny Rockel, Troy Alves, Ed Nunn, Darrem Charles and many more. You won’t want to miss this show!
Not to be overlooked, IFBB Pro Women will be competing at the IFBB Pro World Championships in Fitness, Figure, and Bikini. Expect to see notables in the industry, such as India Paulino in Bikini, to show up to vie for the title. Across the divisions, this is the last chance for the women to grab and Olympia qualificiation this year!!

Oksana Grishina, the lone veteran of the trio, came to Florida in the midst of a career-best year that included a first-ever win at the St. Louis Pro in March, followed by a runner-up finish at the Fitness Olympia. But that was just the appetizer, as Grishina shocked the Fitness world a week ago by doing the impossible and beating Adela Garcia at the Arnold Classic Europe. It was the second win of Grishina’s career, and it put an end to Garcia’s five-year undefeated run. Her win in Ft. Lauderdale, which came in the next-to-last IFBB Fitness event of 2012, was the icing on a year to remember.Bethany Cisternino and Regiane DaSilva placed second and third, respectively.

Figure
With three wins already entering the weekend, Candice Lewis had already shown she wasn’t your typical rookie, and she proved that yet again in Ft. Lauderdale. Competing in her mind-boggling sixth contest of the year, Lewis continued her torrid streak by capturing her fourth win of the season. This one ###### her her one away from entering rare air – both Nicole Wilkins and Erin Stern hold the record for most wins in a single season with five. Lewis now has her sights set on joining that group at either the Kentucky Pro or the Miami Pro.Rookie Kamla Macko finished as the runner-up for the second straight contest – Macko placed second at the Valenti Cup in her pro debut – while Camala Rodriguez placed third in her figure debut. Rodriguez had previously competed in the Fitness division before deciding to make the switch to figure.

For YeshairaRobles, her win in the Bikini division was the second of her career and her second straight in Florida. She started September win a win at the Valenti Cup before placing ninth at the Bikini Olympia. Robles, who turned pro by winning her class at last year’s Team Universe, has competed six times this season, finishing in the top three in all but the Bikini Olympia.Lacey DeLuca, competing in only her second pro contest, finished second to Robles once again. MemberIFBB female physique pros competed at Titans GP. Sabrina Taylor wins. She placed third in her first – and only – IFBB Pro League Women’s Physique competition in March, so Sabrina Taylor wasn’t exactly an underdog pick to win the IFBB Titans Grand Prix on Saturday. But facing one of the biggest and deepest lineups of the year, one that included two previous contest winners in Patricia Mello and Karin Kimura, Taylor didn’t enter as the obvious choice, either.
Show recap by NPCnewsonline.com;
From the moment Taylor walked on stage for the afternoon prejudging, it was clear the much-improved Taylor was going to be tough to beat. Tighter, fuller and with just the right amount of new muscle since her last outing at the Pro Grand Prix, Taylor posed her way past Mello, Kimura and 19 other competitors to win the first contest of her nine-year pro career. Taylor, who made the switch from Figure to Women’s Physique this season, earned her pro card by winning her class in the Fitness division at the 2004 NPC USAs.Patricia Mello earned her second runner-up finish in Los Angeles. Mello, who won the Europa Show of Champions in April, placed second to Sara Hurrle at the Pro Grand Prix in March. Consistently criticized for being borderline too-hard for the division, Mello went a little too far in the other direction this time out.
Venus Nguyen, vastly improved from her 10th-place finish at the Pro Grand Prix, placed third while Keisha Wester (4th) and Susan Graham (5th) rounded out the top five.

Ma ei soovita jooksutossudes kükke teha ega üldse jalajõutrenni nendega teha. Nad on ebastabiilsed ja kõrgema pehme kannaga. Paljudel juhtudel on ka valele jalatüübile mõeldud jooksutoss ostetud. Jalavigastused (eriti põlved) on kerged tulema.

MemberIFBB PRESS RELEASE
2012 WOMEN’S WORLDS: ALL STARS ARE KNOWN !
by Andrew Michalak
All 36 countries have already sent their entry forms, so we can look into each category and predict some most exciting battles.
WOMEN’S FITNESS up to 163 cm
13 athletes and interesting situation: almost full set of 2011 finalists, except Janaina Matos from Brazil. Melinda Szabo of Hungary won the previous Worlds and the latest European Championships. She is young, she combative and hungry of success. It doesn’t seem she would like to lose the title. She will be challenged by two experienced Russians: former European champion Ekaterina Zhurina and runner-up Olga Volokh as well as by young, still improving star from Slovakia, 2010 European junior champion Dominika Multanbova. Interesting to see the current Asian champion Tatiana Volkova (Kazakhstan), Balkan champion Marisel Tolmacev (Serbia) and Canadian overall champion Shelly Patton.
WOMEN’S FITNESS over 163 cm
Unexpectedly, five competitors only, but it doesn’t guarantee a medal because there are some outstanding athletes in this short category. I expect a very close battle between former world champion Natalia Chukaeva (Russia) and South American overall champion and 2011 Arnold Europe runner-up Marta Aguiar (Uruguay) who placed there second to Szabo (in the open class). Also two younger generation athletes: former world junior champion Oksana Orobets (Ukraine) and Russian girl with amazing back flexibility Ksenia Romanenkova guarantee top emotions and super attractive routines.
MEN’S FITNESS open class
The best line-up in the IFBB history? Sure! The finals will be something Cirque de Soleil directors should carefully watch! Routines performed by top champions will be breath stopping. 2011 world champion Oleg Anissimov (Estonia), 2010 European champion, who in Mexico performed with ruptured Achilles tendon, Konstantin Nekrasov (Russia), two fantastic Ukrainians: Nazar Kharkhun and Fedir Khashalov, Czech top star Lubos Koumal as well as 2012 European Championships bronze medal winner Mariusz Lewandowski of Poland. The “cream” of the IFBB and the fitness world.
WOMEN’S BODYFITNESS up to 158 cm
Twelve athletes and three top stars: current world champion Elina Gook of Russia, bronze medal winner Mari Pakkila (Finland) and 5th place winner Silvia Pavliskova (Slovakia). Will they distribute all medals among themselves? Maybe. If anyone could stop them, it would be the coming back 2006 European champion Martina Tarkova of Slovakia (also 2nd place at the 2009 Europeans) or young and attractive German star Angela Derzapf, trained by her famous father and former world bodybuilding champion Eduard or experienced Polish competitor Dorota Galinska. Both placed in the finals of the continental championships in the past.
WOMEN’S BODYFITNESS up to 163 cm
Impressive number of 23 athletes! Among them few top stars: 2009 and 2011 world champion and current European Championships overall winner Zrinka Fiser of Croatia, 2010 European champion and two-time IFBB World Cup winner Anna Szczotka of Poland, 2012 European Championships runner-up Cristina Romano of Italy and winner of many continental medals as well as 2009 Worlds bronze medal, coming back after some longer break Russian star Nelly Tsyshkevich. But Fiser hasn’t lost any contest in the last 3 years. Will she lose this year? Unlikely.
Challengers? Two 2011 Worlds finalists and promising stars: Vilma Salasevichute (Lithuania) and Petra Urbankova (Czech Republic). I would also like to bring your attention to the new Ukrainian star Yuliya Horyachun, who finished 4th in her debut at the European Championships as well as Vitaliya Dmitrieva – finalist of the last year World Cup. And a lot of less known athletes from South Africa, Australia, South America. Maybe among them we will see some new rising stars?
Will also see two former top bodybuilders: 2006 world champion Alina Cepurnienie, who also tries in athletic fitness nowadays and three-time former world junior champion Florina Cernat who recently moved to bodyfitness.
WOMEN’S BODYFITNESS up to 168 cm
The next category with 23 participants. And what a caliber! Two world champions: Ekaterina Gamagina (2011) of Russia and Katarzyna Kozakiewicz-Kowalik (2009) of Poland, two Worlds runners-up: Daniela Pfeiffer (2011) and… Cecilia Benjaminson (2006) – yes, it’s no mistake – great come back after 6 years break! Plus 2012 South American champion Renata Muggiati (Brazil), 2012 Asian champion Shizuka Nakamura (Japan), 2012 Europeans runner-up Eva Rusan (Croatia), 2010 Juniors Worlds runner-up Natalia Gacka of Poland and… a very young (18 years old only), very fresh and very attractive Aminat Tuleubaeva from Russia. She already won bronze medal at the European Championships (2010) and promised to her famous coach Eugen Koltun to improve this achievement. They are serious, very serious…
Taking into account the latest achievements, Gamagina, Kozakiewicz and Pfeiffer may be considered as favourites. But they must be in a top shape as the others will not be watching only. They will be attacking with their full potentials and power!
WOMEN’S BODYFITNESS over 168 cm
Less athletes (15) but the tallest ones. Nobody from the finals of the 2011 Worlds! The door to medals and glory are open! In this situation the main pretenders are the top three from this year’s European Championships, with a new continental champion Sidibe Khoudiedji (France), runner-up Anastasia Gurina (Belarus) and bronze medal winner Olga Karavayeva. All of them have just started their international sport career and all of them are improving and hungry of further successes, so this little “return match” should be top exciting. Will the French long-legged “Black Gazelle” Sidibe grasp her first world title? Who may stop her? Beside Gurina and Karavaeva, maybe the Arnold Amateur Championships and Amateur Olympia winner Tetyana Mikheychyk of Ukraine? Or 2012 South African champion Marcelle Collison or 2010 South American champion Mariana Simonetta of Argentine? Anyway, a new IFBB international star of the tallest class will be born in Bialystok.
WOMEN’S BIKINI FITNESS up to 163 cm
Bikini categories are going to flourish at these Championships. Last year there were 37 participants in two official categories, this year we will have almost a double of them. In the short class we will see the top four from the latest European Championships: Magdalena Kazimirova (Slovakia), Daria Shevchenko (Ukraine), Heather Schofield (UK) and Eva Zegan (Poland). From the previous Worlds finals: Valeria Ammirato (Germany) and Maja Pavlovic (Serbia). Moreover: South African champion Lizelle Horn, Canadian Nationals overall winner Cynthia Benoit and two top girls from the recent Cup of Russia: Olga Storozhok and Oxana Shinkaruk. Kazimirova won the overall title at the 2012 European Championships but there will be so many new stars, so nothing is sure, everything is possible!
WOMEN’S BIKINI FITNESS up to 168 cm
The longest line-up at these Championships – 27 competitors from 20 countries! Two lines on the stage guaranteed! But most of them are newcomers at the world level as this class will be run for the first time. Some better-known names: current European champion Tanja Canc of Slovenia and other 2012 European Championships finalists: Liudmila Diachuk (Ukraine), Marina Diaz (France) and 2012 Worlds 5th place winner Kristina Karaliute-Stoliaroviene (Lithuania). And many, many newcomers from all continents: South African champion Nastassia Jaffe, Australian qualifier overall winner Nina Silic, Angeline Jeanson of Canada and always very good girls from Iceland: Margrét Jonsdottir and Elin Sigurjonsdottir. A mixture of skin colors, beauties and styles.
WOMEN’S BIKINI FITNESS over 168 cm
New category, almost all new participants. But few girls have already won some medals. We can see the top three from this year’s European Championships: Anna Virmajoki of Finland, Jana Majernikova of Slovakia and Vladimira Krasova of the Czech Republic. Majernikova was also a runner-up at the 2011 Worlds (in +163 cm class). Egle Eller-Nabi of Estonia, Evelina Dranseikaite of Lithuania and Andrea Lackner of Austria placed in the top 7 at the 2012 Europeans. And many national champions: Inga Marinaka (Latvia), Ramona Alb (Germany), Rhiannon Harris (Australia), Malgorzata Maczynska (Poland), Petra Redl (Austria). These new stars may surprise all of us!
WOMEN’S BODYBUILDING UP TO 55 KG
This time shorter list of names (5) but with one supernova star: eight-time world champion Jana Purjakova of Slovakia. She will come to win the ninth IFBB world title to overpass El-Shahat Mabrouk IFBB historical record of 8 wins. Is anybody there to stop her? As she hasn’t lost any international championships in the last 10 years (except 2006 Worlds to Alina Cepurniene) and won the recent two Worlds in overall, she may be considered as a 99% favourite. Who could dethrone her? 2002 European champion Joanna Krupa (Poland) who comes back after a few-year break or 2002 Europeans runner-up Silvia Matta (Italy), who performed as a pro bodybuilder between 2004 and 2007 and now also returns to the IFBB amateur status? Or this year’s Asian champion Satoko Yamanouchi (Japan)? They all are high-profile bodybuilders but as good as Purdjakova? I think Purdjakova’s victory will not be seriously threatened this time.
WOMEN’S BODYBUILDING OVER 55 KG
Quite nice line-up of 8 athletes, with some famous names: 2010 European Championships overall winner Natalia Vtyurina (Russia), 2012 European champion Maryna Alf (Ukraine) and bronze medal winner Renee Campbell (United Kingdom). And two experienced masters: Eva Sedkowska of Poland – former European and world champion under the name Krynska and Branislava Jovanovic (Serbia) – two-time continental championships runner-up. So,it will be a battle of young challengers against matured and still impressive masters. The result unsure!
