    Mis rasva kookos siis annab?

    Kookos annab küllastanud rasva.

    Öeldakse, et küllastunud rasvad on halvad ja ärge neid sööge jne. Mis on mõnel puhul õige ja mõnel puhul vale. Aga neid rasvu on mitutut tüüpi: lühikese-, keskmise- või pika ahelaga, mis oleneb sellest palju süsiniku molekule nad sisaldavad. Peaaegu 2/3 kookoses olevast küllastunud rasvahapetest on keskmise ahelaga, nagu ka kookose piimas, need imenduvad otse läbi värativeeni maksa, kus nad on koheselt kehale valmis.
