Organized directly by the IFBB, with the invaluable direct assistance of the Dominican Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (FDFF) and its president, Tony Peña; World Junior & Master Championships will take place in Santo Domingo -the beautiful capital city of Dominican Republic- from December 9th to 11th, closing the 2016 IFBB competitive season.
After the great experience, in 2015, with San Salvador (El Salvador) as hosting country for this event; IFBB took the decision to trust again in Caribe area, considering the wide number of advantage for most of national teams. Dominican Republic -the largest part of “La Española” island-, have the second biggest economy at the Caribe and Central América área, and is the most visited destiny because its modern touristic infrastructure and safety.
Music and Sport are a key part of dominican culture and Bodybuilding is really popular in the country. National Federation (FDFF), chaired by Mr. Peña has a very active role in IFBB and in Caribbean Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation
