    I. AIMS AND TASKS

    The aim: to popularize bodybuilding and fitness in Vilnius city and its region.

    The tasks:

    1. To encourage people to engage in sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

    2. To determine the best bodybuilding and fitness athletes, coaches and clubs.

    3. To successfully prepare for international competitions.

     

    II. COMPETITION TIME, VENUE AND ORGANIZATORS

    The 19th VILNIUS OPEN BODYBUILDING, FITNESS AND BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIP will take place on 14 May 2016 at the Polish Culture House (at the address Naugarduko Str. 76, LT-03202 Vilnius, http://www.polskidom.lt).

    The Championship is organized by Vilnius Bodybuilding and Fitness Union (hereinafter referred to as the Union).

     

    09:00-10:30     Registration of participants

    11:00-11.15     Meeting of judges and club managers.

    12:00-12:30     Lunch break for judges

    13:00   First (morning) part of the competition

    17:30   Second (evening) part of the competition

    III. PROGRAMME

    The competition programme shall consist of: bodybuilding, classic bodybuilding, body fitness and bikini events.

    Age groups: juniors (born in 1998 or earlier), youth (born in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997) and adults.

     

    I. Juniors (18 years of age):

    Bikini from 18 to 23 (Y:cool:

    Women’s Fit model (WFM)

    Women’s novice body fitness (WNBF)

    Men’s novice bodybuilding (MN:cool:

    Bikini (W:cool:

    Men’s Physique (MP)

    Bodyfitness (WBF)

    Classic bodybuilding (MC:cool:

    Men’s bodybuilding (M:cool:: 85 kg and over 85 kg

     

     

     

    If in the event more than 12 participants register to the adults’ absolute category, two categories will be established. If less than 3 participants register to juniors or men’s bodybuilding categories, youth and men’s bodybuilding absolute categories will be established.

     

    Determination of absolute winner

    Women’s bodyfitness (winners of the categories of 23, WNBF and WBF participate)

    Men’s bodybuilding (winners of the categories of 18, 23, YCB, MNB, MCB, MB 85 kg and over 85 kg participate)

    Bikini (winners of the categories of YB and WB participate).

     

    First (morning) part of the competition

    Participants: juniors, youth, novices.

    A qualifying stage will take place in the category of adults in case of more than 6 participants.

     

    Second (evening) part of the competition

    Participants: Final 6-participant groups and determination of the absolute championship.

     

    The competition will be held in accordance with the prepared scenario, which will be announced after registration.

     

    IV. PARTICIPANTS

    The teams of the clubs of Lithuanian cities and districts and guests from abroad will participate in the competition. Athletes will be able to participate individually.

    The assignment of participants to the teams will be established in accordance with applications submitted by the teams, approved by the club managers (see Annex 2).

     

    V. APPLICATIONS

    The managers of clubs have to send filled applications by 1 May 2016 by e-mail ajusel@kfsajunga.lt (see Annexes 2 and 3). Original applications, participants’ questionnaires and personal documents shall be submitted to the Secretariat on the day of the competition, during registration.

    Each participant shall submit a medical clearance form (or provide a physician’s note in the related column in the application) certified by a physician’s seal and signature, confirming that the participant is allowed to participate in the competition.

     

    VI. REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS

    Registration of participants shall take place on 14 May 2016 at the Polish Culture House (at the address Naugarduko Str. 76, LT-03202 Vilnius, http://www.polskidom.lt).

     

    Participants must arrive for registration from 9:00 to 10:30. All categories shall be registered simultaneously.

    During registration, the weight and height of athletes participating in the men’s classic bodybuilding category will be measured, and men bodybuilders will be weighted.

     

    During the registration, the participant must:

    1. Wear competition outfit (men – swim briefs, women – bikini; bodyfitness female athletes shall present their entire competitive outfit and footwear for the inspection by the judges).

    2. Present a passport or personal identity card.

    3. Provide medical clearance.

    4. Provide a musical record on a CD (the record must be recorded in the beginning of the disc; it is recommended to record it in two formats – *.mp3 and *.wav). The CD must be contained in its case with the participant’s name, surname and the team name indicated on it.

    5. Fill in a participant’s questionnaire (see Annex 3).

    6. Pay the start fee.

    7. The tanning must be SMUDGE-PROOF.

     

    Start fees for the members of Vilnius Bodybuilding and Fitness Union and the Lithuanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation: registration fee per one member until 1 May 2016 – 15 EUR, registration fee per one member after 1 May 2016 – 20 EUR.

     

    Start fees for non-members of Vilnius Bodybuilding and Fitness Union and the Lithuanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation: 30 EUR.

     

    Permits for servicing personnel (coaches, persons applying tanners, etc.):

    • A team consisting of 3 or less athletes shall be issued 1 permit;

    • A team consisting of 4-6 athletes shall be issued 2 permits;

    • A team consisting of 7 or more athletes shall be issued 3 permits;

    • A team wishing to obtain an additional permit for the servicing personnel (coaches, persons applying tanners, etc.) will be able to obtain it for an additional fee of 10 EUR.

     

    These permits shall grant the right of presence in the wing space. Those wishing to watch the competition from the spectators’ area shall have to purchase tickets.

     

    VII. EVENTS AND SCORING

    The competition will consist of individual-team events.

    The same athlete shall not be allowed to participate in the events of several categories.

    Junior and youth age athletes shall not be allowed to participate in the events for adults. Exception is granted for the youth bikini category.

     

    The team club scoring shall include the club athletes’ scores for the 1st-10th places won in individual events: 1st place – 16 points, 2nd place – 12 points, 3rd place – 9 points, 4th place – 7 points, 5th place – 6 points, etc. (10th place – 1 point).

     

    VIII. AWARDS

    The winners will be awarded with medals, diplomas and prizes of sponsors; the athletes who will win 4th-6th places shall be awarded with diplomas.

    PLANNED MONETARY PRIZES

    In addition, 3 most productive clubs and coaches shall be awarded.

     

    IX. SAFETY

    The person  responsible for the organization of the competition, its safety and ticket control – the Director Andžej Jusel. The organizer shall ensure medical servicing of the competition, proper work conditions for the judges, the secretariat and media representatives.

     

    X. PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING

    For media accreditation and information on its terms, please refer to the Director of the Championship Andžej Jusel (tel. +370 6 5030408, e-mail ajusel@kfsajunga.lt). Accredited media representatives will be provided places close to the stage and access to the wing space. When registering (until the 1th of May), please indicate: name, surname, position (writing journalist, photographer, operator). Accreditation will be available for collection during the registration from 9:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 17:00.

    Those registering after the 1th of May shall be subject to an additional fee of 10 EUR.

    there are few changes in the regulations. There will not be Womens Fit Model category and Mens Bodybuilding will be under 90kg and above 90kg.
    I am looking forward to seeing your athletes team in our competition.
